He is very bright, and does extremely well with computer-based learning. He also reads at a level well above his age and has strong comprehension. He can express his ideas very well verbally, but he struggles with presentation, organization, and actually beginning the writing process.
He will need someone who is patient but who also knows how to challenge and push him.
I'd like to have someone start working with him in late August/early September on a regular basis for two to three hours per week. As we move further into the school year, and based on assigned projects, this time may increase. Ideally this will be scheduled on Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 and/or late Sunday afternoon. I am flexible on the times and want to work with the tutor to achieve optimal results. He does not get home until 4:15 during the school year and has soccer, so I have some scheduling limitations.
